decompressing your spine
IS PHYSICALLY HEALING AND IT’S MUCH MORE THAN THAT
-
HEAL YOUR PAIN
Spinal Release Yoga Therapy gently reaches into the spine to release (not stretch), decompress and nurture. Each session contains positions to release the core muscles deeply embedded along the spine through the tailbone, sacrum, psoas, ribcage and cervical spine.

LEARN TO LET GO
We can think we’re relaxed and yet have areas of holding we’re not aware of. We can also want to let go and surrender more, but not know exactly how to do it. SRY deepens our capacity to let go physically, which provides a space for the mind and emotions to also release.
-
FEEL EVEN BETTER
Regain mobility, strength, and ease in your body. As the spine aligns, you feel you are becoming more and more yourself. Painful patterns that are concealing your true potential are released. The result of SRY is transformation of your body, mind, relationships and sense of purpose.
OPEn UP TO A WHOLE WORLD WITHIN
SRY takes you deeply inward, softens you and then expands you so that your experience in your body and in life is much more full and rich. You notice feeling more subtle sensations and are more open to life as it unfolds.
CHANGE THE CONDITION OF YOUR SPINE & pelvis
SRY excels in working with the spine to create change and healing over time and to resolve the impacts from previous traumas. SRY has a unique ability to target the deep areas that hold tension habitually - the muscles that make up pelvic floor (Levator Ani and Pubococcygeus) as well as the inside the ribcage around the heart.

I know a lot about pain, and I’m equipped to help you with yours. I suffered from nerve pain for about a decade and I know how much strength it takes to endure nagging pain, wherever it came from. I have so much respect for you, dear one, for what you have carried, and maybe it’s possible to put some of it down and release it now.
Some time ago, the spinal specialist told me to consider a surgery where they would go in a break open my ribs and remove a couple, in order to create more internal space and stop the nerve pain. Well, here’s what I did with that information.
I found a Yoga Therapist and I said, “I need to create more internal space, but without force, can you help me figure out how to do that?” She did, and I was introduced to a specialized form called Spinal Release Yoga Therapy that changed my life.
I don’t have that pain anymore, and I’m grateful everyday. But it wasn’t an easy path, I tried so many things and had to adjust what I was currently doing to this new approach. But it worked from the very start by relieving my pain and to this day my practice continues to deepen.
No matter your background, experience level or body type the subtle world of ease and flow is there, waiting within. SRY methods uncover this inner world from the very beginning of your journey.
